My Approach to Care

Life can be overwhelming at times, and you don't have to face those challenges alone. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation (LISW-S), I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and sharing your story. I believe healing begins in a space where people feel safe, respected, and understood. As I often remind my clients, "You don't have to have all the answers today. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply keep moving forward." My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you recognize your strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.

I work with individuals ages 3 to 82 and have experience helping clients manage anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, grief, trauma, and other life challenges. Whether you're struggling with difficult emotions, parenting child(ren) with big emotions, navigating a major life transition, or processing past experiences, I believe therapy can be a powerful tool for healing and growth.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I incorporate evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care to help clients build on their strengths and achieve their goals.

Over the past 20 years, I've had the honor of supporting survivors of domestic violence and families experiencing homelessness. These experiences have reinforced my belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience when given the right support. I am committed to helping my clients feel understood, empowered, and hopeful as they move forward in their lives. One of the greatest privileges of my work is helping children discover their strengths while supporting parents in building the nurturing relationships that help those strengths flourish.
