At New Care Behavioral Health, we are proud to have David as part of our clinical team. David is a Social Work Trainee currently pursuing his Master of Social Work at Cleveland State University. He provides client-centered care while incorporating evidence-based techniques to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, and other life challenges. David is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to grow, build resilience, and work toward the future they envision for themselves.

My Approach to Care

I am a social work trainee (SWT) and first-year graduate student at Cleveland State University, where I am pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW). I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2026. I have volunteered for various human service programs, working with diverse populations, and I have a passion for supporting individuals from underprivileged and marginalized communities.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and integrates various evidence-based techniques to meet the individual needs of clients. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and supporting individuals from within the LGBTQ+ community. I believe that it is my role as a clinician to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. No matter who they are, I believe that every person has the ability to grow and create positive change with the right support. I strive to be an empowering guide for clients as we work together towards a future that clients envision for themselves.
