My Approach to Care
I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment.
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) with more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Throughout my career, I have worked in private practice, crisis intervention, residential treatment, and community mental health, supporting individuals through some of life's most difficult moments.
While I enjoy working with a variety of concerns, I have a special passion for trauma recovery and supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD. I also work with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, emotional regulation, life transitions, and the lasting effects of adverse experiences. I strive to provide care that is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs.
My approach is collaborative and authentic. I integrate evidence-based practices with genuine human connection, believing that therapy is not about "fixing" people but helping them understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Whether you're navigating past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by the present, or simply looking for a place to grow, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy teaching and speaking on trauma-informed care, pursuing my Doctor of Social Work degree, and continually learning new ways to better serve the individuals and communities I work with.
I look forward to meeting you and being part of your healing journey.
