Alicia Tegtman  -  LSW 

Alicia Tegtman, LSW, provides therapy for adolescents and adults ages 13 and older. She accepts Aetna, AmeriHealth Caritas, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Buckeye/AmBetter, CareSource, ESI EAP, Humana, Medical Mutual, Molina, Ohio Medicaid, OhioRISE, Optum/United Healthcare, and Oscar (no Medicare plans). Alicia works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, adjustment issues, eating disorders, postpartum anxiety and depression, and LGBTQ+/identity concerns. She also offers EMDR therapy and takes a warm, empowering, and trauma-informed approach to help clients process emotions, build confidence, and achieve personal healing.

Alicia Tegtman is a Licensed Social Worker who works with individuals ages 16 and up. She specializes in supporting clients through trauma, PTSD, major life transitions, and identity exploration. Alicia provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for people navigating complex emotional experiences or working to better understand themselves and their stories.

 

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Alicia’s counseling style is compassionate, trauma-informed, and deeply authentic—she meets each client with empathy and respect, fostering a collaborative relationship where healing and growth can take place.

 

Alicia believes in the resilience of her clients and works to help them reconnect with their strengths, process difficult experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
