Brandon Pettry, LPC, provides therapy for adults and teens ages 14 and up, accepting Aetna, AmeriHealth Caritas, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Buckeye/AmBetter, CareSource, Humana, Medical Mutual, Molina, Ohio Medicaid, OhioRISE, Optum/United Healthcare, and Oscar (no Medicare or EAP plans). He supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, substance use or addictions, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ concerns such as gender exploration and sexual identity. Brandon’s approach is affirming, empathetic, and grounded in evidence-based care, helping clients build self-awareness, manage emotions, and make meaningful life changes.

About Brandon,
Brandon is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio, who is under the supervision of Sarah Papesh, LPCC-S, CTP. He earned his Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in clinical mental health counseling from Cleveland State University in 2021. He operates primarily through a person-centered lens and pulls from other treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Reality/Choice Therapy, to help clients meet their individualized goals for counseling. He strives to foster a supportive and collaborative counseling environment, void of judgment.
Brandon views each person as the expert of their own lived experiences and aims to help clients gain a deeper sense of self-awareness. He believes strongly in the importance of professional advocacy and has exhibited these beliefs through his involvement with various counseling organizations at both the state and national levels. He has experience working with a diverse assortment of presenting concerns such as anxiety/stress, depression, substance use, significant life changes, and LGBTQ+ related topics.
